NOTD - Purple ombre nails (a quick how-to)

Here are my Nails Of The Day for you guys! :-)

Today I decided to go with a simple nail art called ombre nails. All you need for this look is

• 2 or 3 different shade nail polishes
• a makeup sponge

I first painted my nails with a purple nail polish by Catrice and used it as kind of a base for this whole look. As I decided to do a purple ombre, I thought these colours would fit perfectly together!

After you have picked up the colours, all you need to do is to get a makeup sponge and cut it smaller, so that it is pretty much the same width/length as your nails to avoid getting the nail polish all over your fingers. Then you just need to paint a side of the sponge with the nail polishes of your choice and start tapping the colour on to your nails.

To finish off the look, just paint your nails with a top coat and there you have it, beautiful ombre nails! This is a very easy and quick nail art to do, and you can use pretty much every colour you want for this. I love how my nails turned out and I'm sure you will, too!
